Another Yard Sale Bargain

Isn't this a pretty cup and saucer? I spotted it at a yard sale and couldn't resist. It's not a well-known brand, but the colors and flowers appealed to me. It even came with a spoon and tea.

What are some of your favorite yard sale finds?

My favorite find isn't actually mine. My mom and dad found an old printing press from the 1950's, I think. It's a small one that I'm assuming was for personal use. It's pretty cool. They got it for $10, and some on Ebay were selling for hundreds of dollars.

I actually have fonder curbside garbage picking finds. My 1800's dresser came from the curb and is gorgeous! :O)

Hi Kristen -

Perhaps your printing press was a salesman's sample. I've seen miniature furniture on Antiques Roadshow, and that's how they're usually classified.

Susan :)
