Make Your Own Dishwasher Detergent

Tired of spending an arm and a leg on dishwasher detergent? Here's an economical and effective alternative you can make at home for pennies an ounce. Mummy Deals gives the recipe and even has a video on how to put the ingredients together.

Hi Janna -

I have to pick up one ingredient, and then I'll try this myself. :)

My mother would SO LOVE THIS! Though no longer living among us, she was a real stickler for resourcefulness. She'd applaud anything home-made. It's taken me awhile to "get it", but now that I do, I'd much prefer spending those saved pennies on a trip, or for someone needy, or to save. They add up fast!

All right! I'd never heard of Mummy Deals; do they wrap everything in long strips of muslin?
